The African Diaspora Council team met with the AU ambassador, Her Excellency, Dr Arikana Chihombori Quao to discuss how to better organize the Diaspora for the betterment of the African Diaspora Community to bring about transformation of African Continent. The African Diaspora Council is pushing that the Diaspora should be independent of the African government in order to be able to hold the government accountable and promote transparency. We strongly believe that the Africans in the diaspora have what it takes to organize themselves. We need to build the Economic Power here in the diaspora and self sustained to be able to compete.
